When deciding earlier this year where to go on our next trip to Greece we could not decide between Paros or Naxos.. We already had plans to go to Santorini so we needed to pick somewhere else. Naxos was our "chosen" destination..!!
Naxos is the calmer friendlier version of Mykonos..The Greek island of Naxos is one of the largest island in the Cyclades and it is positioned in between the two islands of Santorni and Mykonos and directly opposite Paros.
Naxos has a mountainous interior and most of the villages in Naxos are found inland rather than on the sea-side. There are amazing beaches to be found, (hidden too) & small coves.

2. Agios Prokopios - It is the first beach out of the town & the water here is stunning!
3. Agia Anna - Not far from Agios and is a great place for snorkeling
4. Plaka - One of the longest beaches, the sand is fine and soft and the water is an incredible colour.
8. Orkos - Much smaller and thick soft sand, You can walk here from plaka if its not to hot.
